Skin Shed

Guam

The artist transforms the weathered surface of a Guamanian light pole into a poignant abstraction, revealing the island's relentless sun and saline air. Through peeling paint, "Tropical Skin Shed" evokes a natural process of renewal, capturing the vibrant decay and resilience of its environment.
